Venture Out questions
How do the controls work?
Hold the left or right side of the screen to paddle and steer. Tap a gator or shark to whack it. On the jet ski, hold to throttle, and if something grabs your board, tap fast to shake it off.
Motion steering is optional. Turn it on in Settings; touch controls keep working either way.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device. Venture Out has no accounts or cloud sync, so your stars, pearls, records and settings stay on the phone or tablet you play on.
Deleting the app erases that progress.
Can I move my progress to another device?
Not at the moment. There’s no account to carry progress between devices, so each one keeps its own.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Once it’s installed, Venture Out plays offline.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.4 or later, and Android phones. Both versions are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
Is it really free?
Yes. Venture Out is free and has no ads. Every water and craft is earned by playing.
I found a bug. What should I send?
Thank you. Email info@callaloop.com with your device, its system version, which water you were on and what happened. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.
Does Venture Out collect my data?
The app doesn’t collect personal data: no account, analytics, advertising or tracking. The details are in the Venture Out privacy policy.
